Testimonials and Feedback

"We had a huge amount of data regarding sports and physical activity across Lancashire, but didn't have the technical expertise in-house to view it or make sense of it. Spatial Consultants Ltd. managed to interpret the data and develop a series of maps that will provide our partnership with valuable insight into sports participation and facilities. With our new maps my team and our partners will be able to make informed decisions on developing sport across our county. Spatial Consultants Ltd. worked quickly and professionally to get their heads round our complex data and working with Sport England at a national level were able to represent our local data in an efficient way. Our restricted budget for the project could have caused problems, but Spatial Consultants use of innovative open source maps meant it kept the cost down whilst maintaining a high quality of product. An excellent service."

"Graham worked as a senior GIS architect on my team of IT Strategy architects for more than a year. Graham brings with him an extensive understanding of Geospatial technologies and his expertise of enterprise systems integration. He brings with him a deep experience of IT consultancy, strategy and architecture working across many industries and that adds a lot of value and perspective to the business problem. Graham is a leader, very approachable and provided guidance to other junior members of my team. It has been a pleasure to work with Graham and I would absolutely recommend his service to anyone wanting to achieve great results."

“We are currently using Spatial Consultants on developing a landscape partnership project along the Hadrian's Wall Corridor. I have been very impressed with the professional approach of Graham Morgan and the team which he has brought together for this challenging project. The project has required a whole host of different specialism's and the team stepped up to the challenge and put together a very comprehensive and competitive tender submission against intense competition from larger organisations.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Spatial Consultants for an award in the West Cumbria Business Cluster 'Small Business of the Year' Award. I wish them every success for the future and hope to work with them again.”

“Copeland Borough Council has recently employed Spatial Consultants to undertake a data capture project to support a new software installation. The project has been well managed, the quality of the work very good and the team have easily adapted to and become absorbed within our organisation. They are extremely professional in their approach. We were particularly happy that this company are giving employment opportunities to local young people at this difficult time.”

Spatial Consultants are actively engaged with the University of Cumbria in a number of ways; they have:
- provided lectures to undergraduates,
- attended our LEAD programme, a development programme for business leaders, which involved engagement with the University and a number of it’s staff, over a period of many months plus liaison, mutual support and interaction with other West Cumbrian businesses. This was mainly based at the Energy Coast Campus, Whitehaven.
- collaborated with staff to develop an online mapping solution.

We are also delighted that the company has provided work opportunities in IT and market research for a number of graduates, through the Business Placements Service and the Unite with Business project.

The company are clearly keen to maintain good relationships with a variety of staff at the University and to encourage the University involvement in the development and sustainability of the West Cumbrian region.
